E.M. Automotive Warranty Service has been assisting dealers in claims administration since 1978. Founded by Dick Philliops, a former Ford Motor Company representative, in response to the many changes in warranty claims submission and dealer needs.
John Phillips joined E.M. Automotive Warranty Service in October 1984. Over the years, John has achieved Warranty Administrator Master certification and Service Advisor Master certification from Ford Motor Company.
E.M. has since expanded it's operation to include not only handwritten, but the many different types of computer systems, including UCS, Reynolds and Reynolds, ADP as well as other vehicle manufacturers.
E.M. will minimize frozen capital and repair to receipt days by accurately processing claims as follows:
- Download your computer generated repair orders on a daily basis.
- We pick up and deliver handwritten repair orders daily (Local dealerships only, if needed)
- Review repair orders for eligibility. (Basic, ESP, Emmissions, AWA)
- Translate technicians comments and test results into allowable labor operations and time to comply with factory policies.
- Match parts and OSL with repairs to insure inventory control.
- Review for miscellaneous explenses including administration time, handling charges, paint materials, rentals, tow charges, service loaners and tax.
- Review service loaner claims on a monthly basis.
- Submit accurate claims via ACES II for payment.
- Review the overnight repair register and resubmit rejections as required.
- Complete accounting (handwritten) as instructed by dealer / business manager.
- Return paid claims to dealer (handwritten)
